Looks like seller may have made loss on ebay auction for 4GB Sandisk

If this 4GB Sandisk USB flash drive sold by USA ebayer mathstar3 is genuine then we suspect the seller made a loss on the ebay auction. This has not put the seller off auctioning another one (item number 270561892135) on ebay. Either this seller is not much of a star at maths or…

Most USB flash drives (and other flash memory items) sold on ebay can be traced back to fraudulent suppliers in China. The USB flash drives from such suppliers are counterfeit and fake capacity; leading to lost and corrupted files. We wonder whether mathstar3 is yet another ebayer who bought from a fraudulent supplier.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
