We are certain that ruben.guirado (registered in Spain) bought this flash drive (and the others listed for sale on ebay) from a fraudulent supplier. If we are right this USB flash drive is fake capacity and corrupts files. We are sure we are right because this model is a favourite with fraudulent wholesale outlets. The seller may have no idea that they are fakes.

Why is this model of flash drive a favourite with fraudulent wholesale outlets?

Because it is attractive to buyers and is also very easy to program to any old fake capacity that fraudulent suppliers think they can get away with. We have not yet found one of these that had the advertised capacity. Every single one we tested would corrupt files eventually as a result of being fake capacity.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
