fake flash memory fraudster artheybuc_677 pretends ebay items in UK

Seller artheybuc_677 (in China) pretends in this listing that these fake USB flash drives are in the UK – do not be fooled by the scammers in China who pretend items are in your country – always check which country the seller is registered in.

The USB flash drive shown in this ebay listing is notorious – it is always fake capacity and corrupts files. We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

We are fairly sure that this 32GB Kingston DataTraveler USB flash drive from ebay seller 2006fabiolap will prove to be counterfeit, fake capacity and corrupts files. We can’t tell where this ebayer got this flash drive and other flash memory items listed on ebay recently but we are certain that at least some are fakes.

2GB USB flash drives sold on ebay by friend7149 likely to be fake

leave a comment »

We think this 2GB USB flash drive sold on ebay USA by friend7149 is fake capacity and corrupts files. This seller has sold quite a number of these in ebay auctions at prices that would mean friend7149 made a loss on sales if they were genuine.

Who keeps on selling brand new items at a loss on ebay? NOBODY!! At a guess we’d say the real capacity is no more than 512GB and that the memory chips are factory rejects with bad sectors. Negative feedback from buyers in January and February, along with the fact that ebay removed listings from that time, shows this seller previously sold fake 16GB flash drives – so it seems this could be a case of deliberate fraud.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.
