UK ebayer james8ss sells fake 128GB Corsair flash drives on ebay

with 4 comments

The model of Corsair flash drive shown in this ebay listing from UK seller james8ss is not made in 128GB capacity. This USB flash drive is fake capacity and corrupts files.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

  1. Hi anon2,
Seller james8ss has indeed changed ID from james8ss but the new ID is 2010bidtv. It seems that this person has at least two IDs if the name and address for whites1122 are the same – so folks beware of both 2010bidtv and whites1122!!

  3. Did you get a tracking number for the item you returned? Paypal will normally enforce a refund if you did as this is proof it was returned.

  4. I bought a FAKE 128GB USB Flash drive from this seller, when I complained he told me to post it back and I will get a refund. Now he won’t refund my money. How can eBay & PayPal let this happen???
