j.t.27 sold counterfeit 64GB Kingston USB flash drive on ebay

Seller j.t.27 has a number of private ebay auctions for 64GB USB flash drives without a picture of the actual flash drive being sold. We had a look at what this ebayer had sold previously and came across this very obvious fake:

The model of USB flash drive shown in this listing is a discontinued Kingston that was only made in capacities up to 32GB. The flash drive sold in this listing by j.t.27 is counterfeit, fake capacity and corrupts files. We wonder if the lack of a picture of the flash drives being sold in current listings might be to hide the fact that the drives being sold are obvious fakes.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
