Fighting flash fraud on Ebay

The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

Someone tries to sell fake USB flash drive as 1 terrabyte??

Someone is apparently attempting to sell the item pictured on the left as a 1 terrabyte Kingston flash drive – not on ebay but elsewhere on the Internet.

The highest capacity flash drive currently available is indeed from Kingston but it’s 256GB not 1TB and is quite a lot larger that this! It will be a very long time before (if ever) it is possible to store 1TB on a device this size. At the moment we can’t decide whether to quote Victor Meldrew “I don’t beleive it” or Snoopy “Good greif!”

What sort of idiot is this person? Does he or she not realise that this sort of thing is a criminal offence commited in public in front of the whole world?

For those of you with a few brain cells:
We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.
