test flash memory sold by satietymemory with h2testw immediately

A comment by a buyer on ebay about this memory card from selller satietymemory leads us to suspect that flash memory items from this seller may be fake.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

  2. Hi Kompo,
It could be that satietymemory has some genuine items and some fakes (or perhaps faulty items) this is sometimes the case.

It is always a wise precaution to test with h2testw whoever you buy from whether on ebay or elsewhere on the Internet. We have bought fake USB flash drives and fake memory cards on a number of sites as well as flash memory items that were simply faulty rather than fake.

Any flash memory that fails h2tesw is risky to use, even if only a minor fault is shown as it is likely to mean the flash memory is low qualilty and prone to failure, causing data loss.

H2TESTW reports it as genuine. Also a very fast flash stick!
