If this 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drive is genuine then ebay seller xxxxxmichaelxxxxx may make big loss on the sale. Genuine DT200 flash drives have individual serial numbers which can be verified with Kingston, however (as this is second hand) the buyer won’t be able to verify the number.

Kingston flash drives from ebayer wando11 unlikely to be genuine

with 2 comments

We think it highly unlikely that this 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drive listed on ebay by wando11 is genuine. If we are wrong then the buyer will be able to verify the serial number with Kingston. The same goes for the 256GB DT310 from this seller.

UPDATE 07/06/2010
There is also a 256GB Kingston flash drive listed by this seller doesn’t even look like anything sold by Kingston as their swivel model, which only goes up to 16gb, doesn’t look quite like this.
