scr-boya is another ebay fake flash fraudster by the look of it

leave a comment »

We think the USB flash drive sold in this ebay listing from scr-boya and other flash memory items (the SD memory cards and possibly the MP players) from this seller have been fraudulently programmed to report a fake memory capacity to the operating system. Fake capacity flash memory items corrupt files once the true capacity of the memory is full and often become unusable afterwards as a result.

UPDATE O6/06/2010
Well done to the buyer who was wise enough to cancel the transaction for one of these fakes (sold in private listings to hide the evidence of fraud) and leave the seller a neg after seeing this post in order to warn other ebayers about this fraudster!

Suggest that anyone else who bought this item and sees this post reports the seller to ebay , leaves a neg, and demands a refund – that will put paid to art.mjiu2009’s fraud!!

The flash drives in this listing on ebay are obviously counterfeit and fake capacity which corrupts files. You would be lucky to buy a genuine generic 16GB USB flash drive on ebay at this price. Meenu Sidhu Customer Service Brightpoint Australia

leave a comment »

We notice that a few people have recently found our blog by searching for: “Meenu Sidhu Brightpoint”
This seems a little strange to us and we wonder why. A google search doesn’t take you straight to the only post that mentions Meenu Sidhu. She is a customer service rep at Brightpoint, who confirmed our suspicions (just over 12 months ago) that ebay seller yshopretail had his pants on fire. For anyone unfamiliar with rhyming slang: pants on fire = liar.

We just looked at the current listings from yshopretail and don’t like the look of this seller any more than we did 12 months ago! What sort of person encourages people hide their vehicle’s numberplate?? (Item number: 110540771972) – hmm.

stumpz1971 lists obvious fake 64GB Sony flash drive on ebay

There is no such thing as a genuine Sony Vaio USB flash drive. They are an invention of fraudsters in China. This USB flash drive is fake capacity and corrupts files. It is not faulty – the problems with this and other flash drives sold on ebay as faulty are caused by the fraudulent programming to show a fake capacity. It seems that seller stumpz1971 probably bought it on ebay from seller cuthbert2k7 who now lists all the fake flash drives purchased from a fraudulent supplier as faulty.
