ebayers blackmailed or bribed by suspended fraudster yingstar22

leave a comment »

ebay fraudster yingstar22 sold over a thousand fake flash memory items (USB flash drives, memory cards and MP players) before being suspended very recently by ebay, presumably because of all the negative feedback received.

This fraudster used either bribery or blackmail to get ebayers to agree to revise negative feedback: here are two examples where (presumably because the seller was suspended before the feedback was removed) the feedback remains with the original comments:

If you revise your feedback for a fraudulent seller who bribes or blackmails you then you are betraying other ebayers by helping fraudsters continue defrauding people on ebay!

Stand firm! Leave you neg in place. Demand a refund and refuse to send your fake back. If you do send it back you may have broken the law, the address you sent it back to is probably fake and (if the seller does give a geniune address and gets it back) it will probably be resold to some other poor sap!

Fight back against the fraudsters!!

Present your evidence of fraud to ebay, paypal, trading standards, police, bloggers like us who are trying to do something about it and anyone else you can think of!! Warn other buyers, publish your findings on the Internet – do something – don’t just let them keep ripping people off!!

128GB flash drives sold by christian*2808 on ebay corrupt files

leave a comment »

The leather and steel type USB flash drives sold on ebay by christian*2808 are notorious. This model of USB flash drive is always fake capacity and corrupts files. This seller obviously bought from a fraudulent supplier.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

idropexpress auctioning obvious fake 256GB Kingston on ebay

The USB flash drive in this ebay listing from idropexpress is a very obvious fake. The Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drive is not made in 256GB capacity. This USB flash drive is counterfeit, fake capacity and corrupts files.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

darby857 lists 128GB Kingston DT200 on ebay, surely counterfeit

leave a comment »

We think that darby857 bought the 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drives in this ebay listing from a fraudulent supplier and that they are counterfeit and fake capacity. A fake capacity counterfeit flash drive corrupts files. If we are wrong (and we don’t think that is possible unless these were stolen from a warehouse!) then each flash drive will have an individual serial number which can be used to verify that the drive is genuine with Kingston. We don’t think Kingston will be verifying these!

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

128GB DT200 flash drive listed on ebay by nuevo2010 likely fake

leave a comment »

ebay member nuevo2010 has listed a number of these supposedly 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drives in short auction listings. We don’t think there is the slightest chance of them being genuine. We are sure that these are fake capacity counterfeits purchased from a fraudulent supplier that will corrupt files once buyers save more than about 3.7GB of data to them.

In the extremely unlikely event that they are genuine and nuevo2010 was foolish enough to think that people would bid up to the real price then buyers will be able to verify serial numbers with Kingston. Somehow we think not!!

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

ilicitano27 lists obvious fake 256GB Kingston flash drives on ebay

This listing from ebay seller ilicitano27 shows very obviously counterfeit and fake capacity flash drives. Had ebay been paying any real attention to what people list on their site they should have spotted it immediately. The Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drive is not offered in multiple colour options as this listing appears to suggest – and it is not made in 256GB capacity.

The DataTraveler 200 is (like most Kingston flash drives) colour coded according to capacity – and one of the colours shown in the picture doesn’t exist at all in any capacity!! Fake Fake Fakity fake!

If ilicitano27 had looked at the Kingston website then this seller would have known better than to put up this listing.

Had ebay being paying any real attention they would have realised these were fake immediately.

It seems ebay is asleep at the wheel!

Why do we KEEP having to point out the absolutely obvious??

c05670772 re-selling fake flash drive bought on ebay from egotechbase

leave a comment »

It seeems that this USB flash drive was purchased on ebay from suspended ebay fraudster egotechbase. Because egotechbase has been suspended for selling fake flash drives that corrupt files the original sale (ebay item number 220597486612) can no longer be viewed.

If seller c05670772 does not want to risk negative feedback by selling a flash drive that corrupts the buyer’s files then we’d advise this person to remove this item from sale.
