If Sandisk flash drive from ebayer littlecrazygirl is genuine seller may make a loss

If the 32GB Sandisk USB flash drive being sold at auction in this ebay listing from littlecrazygirl is genuine then the seller risks making a loss on the sale by auctioning it. If it is a counterfeit, rather than a genuine Sandisk then it will have a fake capacity and corrupts files.

kineticzen1 auctions fake 256GB Kingston USB flash drive on ebay

The 256GB Kingston flash drive in this ebay auction from kineticzen1 is not made by Kingston and does not have a capacity of 256GB. It is a fake capacity counterfeit flash drive that corrupts files. The DataTraveler 200 does not come in 256GB – any you see advertised as this are manufactured by fraudsters in China.

ebayer ebamanny calls fake USB flash drive a “clone” – very clever!

leave a comment »

Seller ebamanny was not deterred by negative feedback for this model of flash drive from the buyer of item number 270558492633 (sold on April the 10th) We present the buyer’s comment (left on June 5th) below:

Seller shipped me 2 defective items. It took pulling of teeth to get a refund

This is a notorious fake capacity flash drive which always corrupts files. Seller ebamanny is undeterred – the buyer obviously had a long fight to get a refund. Does the seller test the flash drives properly after having a complaint? No! Seller ebamanny simply changes the description and calls this fake USB flash drive a “clone” – oh, very clever!

The USB flash drives in this ebay listing from rpgshxe623 are certain to be counterfeit and fake capacity, which corrupts files. They are too cheap to be anything else as it costs far more than the seller’s buy it now price to manufacture a genuine 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drive.

Suspect ebay listing by stephan8er69 for 256GB DT310 flash drive

leave a comment »

Axel expressed some doubts about this ebay listing by stephan8er69 so we had a look – we find this listing rather suspect too, but for a more concrete reason than the riskily low starting bid price. We think this DataTraveler 310 is a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files. The seller states in this listing:

Hey every body I have here a brand new Kingston data traveler 310 2.0 256 gb flash drive. It’s the largest flash drive you can purches out on the market, I have just revived this for Christmas to use for my drafting course in school but turns out I bought a brand new computer instead. Now if you looking at this right now you already know the value of this (1000$) I’m selling it for much cheaper just because time are tough and I could use the money to get by. This is brand new never opened. Any questions please feel free to email me.

Thank you and remember Serious buyers only please!!!!!!!

Strange… we are sure that the Kingston DataTraveler 310 was not available in December 2009; in fact it wasn’t announced until February 18th – so did Christmas come somewhat later in Florida than everywhere else??

We think that the picture on the left illustrates our view of this sales pitch from stephan8er69. We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

fashonvictimes selling counterfeit Kingston in private ebay listing

leave a comment »

The fact that fashonvictimes is selling these counterfeit 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drives in a private ebay listing makes us wonder if fashonvictimes knows that these are fake capacity flash drives which will corrupt files. We think that as these are obviously counterfeits (they’re too cheap to be genuine) it is very likely that the memory cards from this seller are also counterfeit and fake capacity.

savinformatique2010 lists probable counterfeit Kingston on ebay

leave a comment »

We think it very likely that the 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 150 USB flash drives being auctioned on ebay by savinformatique2010 are counterfeit and fake capacity items purchased from a fraudulent supplier. If we are wrong then buyers will be able to verify the serial numbers with Kingston. If we are right this USB flash drive corrupts files.

Flash drives from ebayer the.darkman30 not defective but fake!

leave a comment »

Seller the.darkman30 has listed 128GB USB flash drives for sale on ebay as defective. They are not defective in the normal sense – they are fake capacity flash drives bought from fraudsters we have posted about on this blog as can be seen from this ebayer’s feedback profile:

The four purchases shown above are all from known fraudsters, two of whom have been suspended by ebay. The reason the flash drives don’t work is because they are fakes with a capacity nowhere near 128GB but programmed to show a false capacity when drive properties are examined. The real capacity is likely to be less than 4GB and the flash chips used are probably poor quality factory rejects.

The seller has also listed two very obvious fake 64GB Sony Vaio drives as defective, the only Sony Vaio flash drives are fakes manufactured by fraudsters in China. They are about as much use to anyone as a chocolate teapot. Do not buy flash drives listed as defective – you might as well flush your money down the toilet!!

kenbar2 lists obvious counterfeit 64GB Sony flash drive on ebay

leave a comment »

Sony do not sell any 64GB USB flash drives and, although kenbar2 calls them microvault drives, careful examination of the photo in this ebay listing shows that the drive carries the Vaio logo – always sure fire proof that a USB flash drive is counterfeit, fake capacity and corrupts files. The seller obviously bought from a fraudulent wholesale outlet.

If this 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drive listed at auction is genuine by ebayer sersch2007 is genuine then this seller risks making a loss by auctioning it. 128GB Kingston DT200 from ebayer jodysjewels05 must be fake

leave a comment »

The 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drives in this ebay listing from jodysjewels05 are too cheap to be genuine so this seller must have bought them from a frauduent wholesale outlet (no doubt in China) that supplies counterfeit and fake capacity memory items. A fake capacity flash drive corrupts files. We’d fall over backwards if we are wrong about this, but if we are and they are genuine buyers will be able to verify they are genuine with Kingston. Genuine Kingston flash drives have individual serial numbers that can be verified with Kingston.

naike198652554 is another ebay fake flash seller in China

leave a comment »

The 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drives sold in this ebay listing (item # 290433909250) from naike198652554 are counterfeit and have a fake capacity (the real capacity is probably no more than 4GB) – they have been fraudulently programmed by fraudsters in China to display a capacity of 128GB to the operating system, but that is not the truth!
