sanyangai2010 lists counterfeit 256GB DT310 flash drives on ebay

The 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 310 USB flash drives in this ebay listing from seller sanyangai2010 are counterfeit, fake capacity and will corrupt files. At this price they simply couldn’t be anything other than fakes – they cost a lot more than this to manufacture!! Why is it that ebay is so slow to notice obvious fakes?

There is a lot of guff about ebay buyer protection and paypal protection – in our experience they are far better at protecting fraudsters (by removing listings AFTER people have bought so that they unaccountably vanish from won lists) rather than protecting buyers by removing obvious fakes when the items are first listed (before anyone buys) or warning the victims of fraud by telling them that what they bought was fake, which they seldom do!

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
