flash*8431 – another ebay ID being used by familiar fraud gang

The supposedly128GB and 64GB USB flash drives sold by flash*8431 are no such thing – the actual memory capacity of these is no more than 4GB though they are programmed to display the advertised capacity when properties are examined in the operating system.

The ID flash*8431 is yet another being used by a familiar ebay fake flash fraud ring operating out of Singapore which we christened the singjapan gang many months back. They are a devious lot with all sorts of tricks up their sleeves to try and get away with defrauding ebayers with fake flash memory.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
