biwncaija89 is another ebay fake flash seller from China

leave a comment »

We don’t think for a moment that the USB flash drives in this ebay listing from biwncaija89 will really have a capacity of 64GB – though of course that’s what the operating system will show, due to fraudulent programming. We think this is a fake capacity USB flash drive that corrupts files once the real capacity (probably 4GB or less) is full. The seller is also offering counterfeit and fake capacity 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 150 flash drives.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

We think the 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 in this ebay lisiting from tobi24.07.85 is likely to turn out to be yet another fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files. If we are wrong the buyer will be able to verify the drive is genuine by verifying the serial number with Kingston.

joyretail is yet another fake flash seller on ebay – test with h2testw

The leather and steel type USB flash drive sold by joyretail in this ebay listing is the most obvious of the fake flash memory items from this ebay seller but we think any flash memory item from this seller will prove to be fake capacity. Any fake capacity flash memory item (USB flash Drive, memory card, camera with built in flash memory or MP player) corrupts files.
