Counterfeit 256GB DT310 flash drive listed on ebay by 2010arima

It is likely that by the time you read this the listing above will have vanished from ebay and seller 2010arima may have been suspended by ebay for listing such an obvious fake capacity counterfeit as this 256GB Kingston DataTraveler 310 flash drive. Anyone who bought one of these and actually receives it will find that it corrupts files after a while. The same goes for the 128GB DataTraveler 200 flash drives from this seller.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

  2. Hi Guys!
There will be no need to test them,You’ll never receive that memory stick. This is new scam (ebay-loophole?),they simply list attractive item with more attractive price and after little while seller disappears.Opening PayPal dispute might help but more likely seller does not have remaining funds. This guy had 47 items sold before he was closed down.Nearly 900 euro, keeps You pretty happy over 6 month in China with no work..Ebay is full of those sellers, look them feedback. From 0 up to 60-70 ,mostly sold some 1 euro crap to build up feedback. Also – registered just few month ago.
