128GB Kingston DT200 sold on ebay by luv4charlie probably fake

If this 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 USB flash drive sold on ebay by luv4charlie is genuine then the seller made a loss on the auction. Alternatively it is a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files. The buyer can find out which is the case by checking the serial number with Kingston – if it is genuine then Kingston will verify this. If not then it is a fake.

Here we have another fake 128GB flash drive of the notorious leather and steel type sold at auction on ebay. This flash drive is always fake capacity and corrupts files. Seller passs-didi is part of an ebay fraud gang mainly selling this particular model of fake flash drive (which we christened the fraudster’s favourite a long time ago) and dodgy phone batteries.

ebay alert: sawqe10 selling counterfeit 128GB DT200 flash drives

The 128GB Kingston flash drives listed on ebay by sawqe10 are fake capacity counterfeits. You can’t buy a genuine generic 16GB flash drive on ebay at this price, let alone a brand name one; and you most certainly can’t buy a genuine 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 ANYWHERE (even if you were buying 1000 of them wholesale!) for this price.

It costs a lot more than the buy it now price of $19.96 to manufacture the flash chips alone, leaving aside any other components! Anyone who receives one of these fake capacity USB flash drives will find it corrupts files – after the tiny real capacity is full.

Wake up to reality folks! Ever heard the saying ” there is no such thing as a free lunch” ?? Well there is no such thing as a 128GB flash drive for twenty dollars, either!

ebay alert: ppkk58 is another seller of fakeĀ Kingston flash drives

leave a comment »

The 128GB flash drives in this ebay listing from ppkk58 are fake capacity counterfeits – at this price they couldn’t be anything else. A fake capacity flash drive corrupts files. This seller is no innocent, this is deliberate fraud – the listing was set up to evade ebay’s auto-detection of fraudulent listings. That said, this listing has now been removed and seller ppkk58 has been suspended.

Could we possibly be looking forward to the day when fake flash memory is no longer sold on ebay? Let’s hope so!

ebay fake flash fraudster xiaoluchina selling counterfeit Kingston

The 64GB Kingston flash drives in this ebay listing from xiaoluchina are far too cheap to be anything other than fake capacity counterfeits which will corrupt files. Do not think you can buy Kingston flash drives at bargain basement prices – what you will get is a counterfeit flash drive that corrupts files.

ebay alert: hello.shopz sells notorious fake 128GB USB flash drive

leave a comment »

The supposedly 128GB USB flash drive in this ebay auction from hello.shopz is fake capacity and corrupts files. This leather and steel model is a notorious fake that has been sold by fraudsters on ebay in every fake capacity imaginable for a long time. We have never found one that had the advertised capacity. These are a great favourite with fraudsters because they are easy to program to fool the operating system into reporting whatever capacity the fraudsters think they might get away with.
