laoransperrot lists counterfeit 128GB DT200 flash drives on ebay

leave a comment »

The 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drives listed on ebay by laoransperrot are too cheap to be anything other than fake capacity counterfeits. A fake capacity USB flash drive corrupts files.

This seller has foolishly entered into a dropshipping arrangement with a fraudulent supplier in China so does not even have the opportunity to test the flash drives. No one with any sense should enter into such arrangements for selling flash drives as they are certain to be fakes.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

naph8it lists obviously fake 64GB Kingston flash drives on ebay

with 4 comments

Seller naph8it tells us in this ebay listing:

I am selling these items as a mistake from our Supplier, We ordered Mobile Phones and recieved USB Sticks. As a ‘Good Will’ gesture, Our supplier let us keep them as a ‘Gift’, I don’t need this many so i’m going to sell them.

Items are GENUINE 64GB Kingston DataTravelers (not the 8GB listed in the photo, Besides that the Item is Identical in appereance).

The UBS’s are 2.0, designed for Windows Vista and Above (Windows 7) with Warrenty information on the packaging.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact myself, I am not an expert in Data Storage but I will be honest and help you the best i can.

We think that naph8it needs to get a new supplier because the current one is obviously fraudulent if what naph8it says is right. If the drives being sold look like the 8GB one pictured because this model of Kingston flash drive is not made in 64GB capacity.

It is no wonder the supplierr was willing to give naph8it these for nothing as they are worthless crap. Anyone who buys one of these will be getting a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files.

Kingston DT310 in ebay auction from unpochito unlikely to be genuine

leave a comment »

We think it highly unlikely that this 256GB Kingston DataTraveler 310 flash drive being auctioned on ebay by unpochito is genuine. We think it is much more likely to be a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files. In the unlikely event that we are wrong the buyer will be able to confirm it is genuine by verifying the serial number with Kingston.
