Private ebay listing from cafedirect2010 for notorious flash drive

with 3 comments

The leather and steel type flash drive in this private ebay listing from cafedirect2010 is a notorious fake capacity model that corrupts files. This seller obviously went shopping in fake flash land and chose the most common fake flash drive sold on ebay for years from the range offered by the fraudulent supplier.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

32GB Sandisk flash drives from ebayer thundarpaws suspiciously cheap

The low buy it now price in this ebay listing from thundarpaws makes us suspect that this seller may have purchased these 32GB Sandisk Cruzer flash drives from a fraudulent supplier. If they did come from a fraudulent supplier what ebayers will get is a fake capacity counterfeit flash drive that corrupts files.

Test flash drives sold by ebayer jackk13: a victim of fraud??

leave a comment »

Although the price that ebay member jackk13 has been selling the 16GB flash drives in this ebay listing is perfectly reasonable we suspect they are fakes. We advise anyone who bought a flash drive from this seller to test with H2testw as we think this seller fell victim to a fraudulent wholesale outlet (probably in China) supplying fake capacity memory.

We advise ebayer jackk13 to do the same as we think that any USB flash drive he (or she) listed on ebay is likely to be fake capacity, which corrupts files. Unfortunately there are many fraudulent wholesalers in the far east and an increasing number of ebayers (hoping to make some money in difficult times) are buying from these fraudsters and re-selling on ebay.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you (or much worse – your customers) run the risk of data loss and corruption.

flash drives listed on ebay by jxakal79 sure to corrupt users’ files

We suspect that this 64GB USB flash drive listed at auction on ebay by jxakal79 will turn out to be fake capacity, which corrupts files – apart from anything else the picture shows a tell-tell capacity sticker which we have only ever seen on fakes. Additionally the seller has a buy it now listing for a notorious fake leather model, an auction for the notorious leather fake and another very dodgy looking 32GB swivel type. We think this seller has been shopping in fake flash land.

64GB DT 150 flash drives from ebayer caminoabc sure to be fake

If this 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 150 flash drive listed on ebay by caminoabc was genuine the seller would risk making a loss by selling it at auction. However, as the seller also has one in a buy it now listing for $36.99 we are certain that both will turn out to be fake capacity counterfeits and a fake capacity flash drive corrupts files.

The leather and steel type flash drive in this ebay listing is always fake capacity and corrupts files whatever capacity it is listed as. The same goes for any other model of flash drive you see in this particular packaging. Seller memoryguy1 obviously bought from one of the fraudulent suppliers in fake flash land (the far east).
