Private ebay listing from cafedirect2010 for notorious flash drive

with 3 comments

The leather and steel type flash drive in this private ebay listing from cafedirect2010 is a notorious fake capacity model that corrupts files. This seller obviously went shopping in fake flash land and chose the most common fake flash drive sold on ebay for years from the range offered by the fraudulent supplier.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

  1. Hi Traveler

You may not be aware of this ebay has been making a very good job of “disappearing” the evidence of fraud on their site during your absence. They are suspending sellers much more quickly. This would be a good thing if it weren’t for the fact that then a lot of ebayers don’t know what to do when the item they bought has vanished without trace.

However, the transaction details should still be in their paypal account – and thanks to your comment, everything else they need to chase seller cafedirect2010 is here! Perhaps local buyers might like to pay a personal visit to this seller …

See what you are doing Traveler – bringing out our naughty side again!

  2. Despite all the claimed expertise and that personal, hands on testing of every individual drive by cafedirect2010, they are “No longer a registered user”.

Was this seller removed for being too attentive in making sure his customers were getting the real deal?

I am glad I left a note of the full contact details of this seller for all those who have been conned by this seller. The listing above is no longer available to view.

In fact, all evidence of these drives listed and sold by this seller have vanished.

  3. This is a class act here.

The seller claims in the personal profile to be an expert in this quote:

“As a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) I have over 10 years hands on experience in all aspects of Information Technology mainly Hardware computing, system builds, Trouble shooting Analyst.Wireless networking, Internet.”

    In the listing however:

“BEWARE OF FRAUD COPIES OF THE 32 GB MEMORY PEN
THESE 32GB HAVE BEEN FULLY TESTED BY A COMPUTER TECHNICIAN AND WILL BE FULLY TESTED TO RE ASSURE THE CAPACITY OF 32GB BEFORE BEING SHIPPED OUT”

Surely, if you ARE the expert, you would word that very differently. I would.

The claimed capacity of these drives and the claims of the sellers expertise are both greatly exaggerated here by the sounds of it.

I suspect both to be somewhat lacking in storage capacity! (I wonder if they are they both in leather and stainless steel too?!? It’s maddawg all over again!!!!)

I have been contacted by an ebayer regarding this seller. The seller wanted the ebayer to pay up front for as many drives as they wanted and to leave positive feedback in order to get the drives sent out. Apparently ebay delay in forwarding the monies for these drives to the seller.

The seller is using drop-shipping. How then can the seller personally test each individual drive as they claim? This is the exact mail from the seller to the concerned ebay member.

“i can get different ones bu mainly buy the leather ones , i am a computer technician like yourself and once the items have been shipped and tested by myself then i re ship out to reassure the flash drive is in good working order and the data space is correct”

The seller details are below for those who wish to question the seller directly. Also link to fake flash drive we all know.

This seller has been left in no doubt about how to test or where to find relevant info. All links were provided to this article and all the other leather fakes portrayed here too.
