ebay alert: xfxcfx110 sells counterfeit 128GB Kingston flash drives

It is beyond us how anyone could possibly think they could get a genuine 128GB Kingston DT200 flash drive for US $14.99, yet it seems that a number of ebayers bought these fake capacity counterfeits from xfxcfx110. The flash drives from this seller will trash files after a while.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

UPDATE 30/07/2010
Seller xfxcfx110 has now been suspended by ebay so if you bought from this seller the item will have vanished from your won list.
