zhanghefeng3710 suspended by ebay for selling fake flash drives

The flash drives sold by zhanghefeng3710 are nothing to do with Sony – Sony don’t sell anything that looks like this! These flash drives are fake capacity counterfeits. A fake capacity USB flash drive corrupts files after a while. This seller has been suspended for selling fakes.

If DT200 flash drive from ebayer jessjokin is genuine seller risks loss

leave a comment »

If this 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drive is genuine then seller jessjokin risks making a loss by selling it at auction on ebay. Genuine Kingston DT200 flash drives have individual serial numbers so if this is genuine the buyer can confirm this by verifying the serial number with Kingston – if Kingston cannot verify the serial number of a flash drive then it is a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files.

The 256GB Kingston flash drives sold by kennykcheng are fake capacity counterfeits that will corrupt files. The Kingston DataTraveler 200 is not made in 256GB capacity so these obviously came from one of the fraudulent wholesale outlets in China.

As every single flash drive our team tested that came in this packaging turned out to be fake capacity, which corrupts files, we think the same will apply to the ones in this ebay listing from benbotto. This ebayer obviously made the mistake of buying from a fraudulent supplier in China.

Is 128GB DT200 flash drive in ebay auction from firstnavyseal genuine?

Is this 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drive listed at auction by firstnavyseal genuine? We have our doubts. If it is genuine then the buyer will be able to confirm this by verifying the serial number with Kingston. If the serial number cannot be verified by Kingston this USB flash drive is a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files.

UPDATE 02/09/2010
The flash drive in this listing sold for US $134.50 – so we think that seller firstnavyseal probably did not break even on the sale, let alone make a profit. This does not seem to have discouraged the seller from auctioning another one (ebay item number 260658615146) which makes us think our suspicions may well prove founded.

128GB Kingston DT200 flash drives from ebayer jvandcolimited2008

The 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drives listed on ebay by jvandcolimited2008 seem a bit too cheap to be genuine which leads us to conclude that this ebay seller probably bought from one of the fraudulent wholesale outlets in China. If we are right then what anyone who buys one of these will get is a fake capacity counterfeit USB flash drive that corrupts files.

In the unlikely event that we are wrong buyers will be able to confirm that their flash drive is genuine by verifying the serial number of their flash drive with Kingston. If the serial number cannot be verified then our conclusion is correct.
