32GB Kingston flash drives from ebayer walkingcloudy6 a bit cheap

leave a comment »

These 32GB flash drives from ebay seller walkingcloudy6 seem a little on the cheap side to us which makes us wonder whether they may have come from a fraudulent supplier. Genuine Kingston flash drives have unique serial numbers which can be used to verify with Kingston that the drive is genuine. If they did come from a fraudulent supplier Kingston will not be able to verify serial numbers and they will be fae capacity counterfeits. A fake capacity flash drive corrupts files.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

If you look at the feedback for ebay fake flash seller first-viewzz prior to 5th August you will see that all the feedback comes from IDs marked as no longer a registered user. You may wonder why – we can tell you. These ID’s like the ebay ID first-viewzz all belong to the same fake flash fraud gang in Singapore.

Needless to say the 128GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 flash drives in this ebay listing are fake capacity counterfeits. Anyone who bought one of these will discover it corrupts their files after a while. The notorious leather and steel model from this seller will also corrupt files.

256GB DT310 USB flash drives in ebay auctions from m-imran301

We have a feeling that ebay seller m-imran301 may have bought the 256GB Kingston DataTraveler 310 flash drives listed in auctions from a fraudulent supplier. If we are wrong and they are genuine then buyers will be able to confirm this by verifying the serial number of their flash drive with Kingston. If the serial number cannot be verified by Kingston then the USB flash drive is a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files.

Counterfeit 64GB Kingston flash drives from ebayer wayne2513

leave a comment »

Seller wayne2513 may not realise it but the 128GB Kingston DataTraveler flash drives listed at auction on ebay are fake capacity counterfeits. This seller obviously bought from a fraudulent supplier – and there are plenty of counterfeit and fake capacity fake capacity flash drives sold by dodgy wholesale outlets in China!

Ebay sellers are strongly advised to check out what is really available before even thinking of purchasing flash memory items to resell on ebay. Sometimes (as in this case) the item is obviously not genuine, as the 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 200 is not this colour!!

If the items offered look ok then the seller should check out any wholesale outlet purporting to supply brand name flash memory items with the brand in question before considering a purchase. The likes of Sony, Kingston, Corsair, Transcend etc have suffered a lot from the sale of counterfeits – and counterfeit flash memory is always fake capacity, which corrupts files.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you (or worse still, your customers) run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Anyone who buys one of these leather and steel type flash drives on ebay from qiangbei.09 is certain to find it corrupts their files once the real capacity of the flash drive (probably 2GB at most) has been filled. This model of flash drive is sold by just about all the fake flash fraudsters on ebay and is notorious – always fake capacity and corrupts files. We are pretty certain all flash memory items from this seller are fakes.

Beware: fake Sony Vaio flash drives on ebay from junyingdng85009

leave a comment »

The flash drive in this ebay listing from junyingdng85009 is a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files. It is counterfeit because it falsely uses the Sony and Vaio names and it is fake capacity because it can store a lot less than the advertised capacity. When you plug a fake into your computer it shows pretty much the capacity you would expect – but this is not the truth!! Fakes are programmed to report a false capacity to the operating system – but once the real capacity is full – kiss goodbye to your stuff!!

There is no such thing as a genuine Sony Vaio flash drive, they are fakes manufactured by fraudsters in China. The Vaio name is not used by Sony for flash drives, only for laptops and notebooks – so if you see a flash drive with the Vaio name you can be sure you are looking at a fake that will trash your data.

This seller has been suspended by ebay so buyers will find that their item has vanished from their won list.
