There is no such thing as a genuine Sony Vaio flash drive, only fakes (which are programmed to display a false capacty) produced by fraudsters in China. Anyone who bought a flash drive on ebay from seller zhaofusheng20102010 will find that their new USB flash drive corrupts files once they have filled the real capacity; which will be no more than 4GB.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

The 64GB Kingston DataTraveler 150 USB flash drives in this ebay listing from no_hugging_no_learning seems a bit too cheap to us. This makes us think that no_hugging_no_learning may have bought from one of the fraudulent suppliers in China who sell fake flash memory items.

If these Kingston flash drives are genuine then buyers will be able to verify the serial numbers with Kingston. If you bought one and find the serial number cannot be verified then the USB flash drive is a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files.

Seems these fake capacity leather and steel flash drives listed on ebay by yallstock are shipped directly from a fraudulent supplier in China. This means the seller has had no chance to discover what anyone who buys one will find out – this USB flash drive corrupts files once the real capacity (4GB at most) has been filled.

The 256GB Kingston DataTraveler 310 flash drives sold on ebay by china_craftman are too cheap to be anything but fake capacity counterfeits. Anyone who bought one of these will find it corrupts their files after a while. The same applies to the 128GB Kingston DT200 flash drives from this seller.

Notorious leather & steel flash drives listed on ebay by movingstore

It appears that ebay seller movingstore has made an unwise drop-shipping arrangement with a fraudulent supplier in China. The net result of this is that movingstore (registered in Australia) will not have the opportunity to check whether or not the flash drives listed on ebay are genuine or not. We can say without a shadow of a doubt that these leather and steel flash drives will be fake capacity, which corrupts files.

xianan8516 is another ebay fraudster selling fake USB flash drives

leave a comment »

Here we have yet another fraudulent listing from an ebay seller registered in China who pretends that fake capacity flash drives are located in a completely different country. The supposedly 64GB USB flash drive in this ebay listing is nothing of the sort – it is unlikely to be able to save as much as 4GB before it corrupts files. It may be marked with the name Sony but Sony have never sold any flash drives like this. The location is given as New York, United States – absolute rubbish – the flash drive, like this fraudster, is in China.

Beware – most of the flash memory listings (USB flash drives, memory cards, MP players) on ebay are scams!
