The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

ebayer dr_teck specifies that no idiot should buy this fake flash drive

Seller dr_teck tells us in this ebay listing (item number 260661474523) that the terms of sale are as follows:

Terms:

NO RETURN

NO TIME WASTERS

NO IDIOTS PLEASE

local pick up is welcome

This patently fake flash drive (has the tell tale shiny sticker for one thing) apparently sold on the 9th for 1p less that the stated start price. We say apparently because the ‘sale’ looks as dodgy as the flash drive. We wonder if the early ‘sale’ might be something to do with this conversation between dr_teck and another ebayer:

Dear dr_teck,

Who do you think you are trying to kid, 64GB? what a load of ***** Checkout fightflashfraud (google it) you will see how many others try to pass off these fakes..

Dear xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

you are such an idiot, I bought this key on ebay a while ago and ebay only allow genuine stuff, so go
and get lost

If you want to have a look it is ebay listing number 260661474523! Looks like this seller needs watching!!

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
