It appears that this known model of fake flash drive listed at auction by mjc1881 was purchased by the seller for £19.99 with free P&P from moon.pyter – an impossibly low price for a genuine flash drive.

We published an article about moon.pyter back on the 8th of August when we spotted a listing for this known model of fake flash drive in 16GB capacity. It appears mjc1881 that also bought the 16GB version (for £12.99 with free postage) from moon.pyter.

If there is anything we think worse than the fake flash sellers from China it is ebayers elsewhere who try to re-sell the fakes they bought from sellers in the far east.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
