Fighting flash fraud on Ebay

The importance of feedback comments on ebay

We have noticed that a lot of buyers who bought fake flash drives, memory cards etc. on ebay do not actually say this in their feedback for the seller. This defeats the whole purpose of feedback as (though that individual may have been refunded) sellers often go on selling fakes to others.

Buyers should always test flash memory with the free program h2testw before leaving feedback and should state in their feedback that the item was fake or faulty if it fails testing. This acts as a warning for other buyers.

It is a seller’s responsibility to ensure that their goods are genuine and fit for purpose – being too kind to someone who sold you a fake could be very unkind to many other buyers!!
