256GB flash drives sold on ebay by mahbod858 are fakes

The supposed 256GB Kingston flash drives sold by mahbod858 (pictured on the left) are out and out fakes.

The Kingston DataTraveler 200 (the model shown in the picture) is not made in capacities above 128GB. The seller may not have realised this but he obviously bought fake capacity counterfeits from a fraudulent supplier.

Anyone who bought one of these USB flash drives will find it corrupts files.

If mahbod858 is an honest seller he should contact and refund all buyers immediately.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
