Fighting flash fraud on Ebay

The authors of this blog want to elimnate flash fraud on Ebay

Do ebay members have brain cells? Sometimes we wonder!

We just looked in on ebay and noticed this listing – incredibly it appears that 94 ebayers were stupid enough to think that they could buy a 256GB Kingston DataTraveler 300 flash drive for US $21.99 from love8882010. We despair.

You’d be lucky to get a genuine 16GB flash drive on ebay at this price, let alone something of higher capacity. No doubt many of these idiots will give them to some poor soul for Christmas and their poor friend or relative (thinking they got a fabulous present) will end up with everything they saved to this fake being corrupted. Thank you, Santa and good night!

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.
