Counterfeit Kingston DT310 flash drives from best_deals24-7 on ebay

with 3 comments

The 256GB Kingston DataTraveler 310 flash drives listed on ebay by UK seller best_deals24-7 are too cheap to be genuine. They are sure to be fake capacity counterfeits and anyone who buys one will find that the USB flash drive corrupts their files after a while.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

  2. Yet, despite this advice the seller continues to attempt to sell these suspected fakes see 330505758003
and 330505787283 for examples in addition to the one presented above. One unsold item has been re-listed.

Also some very suspect looking Kingston 32GB flash cards (Micro-SD with adaptors) 330506214633 has the 32GB marked in the wrong colour and the wrong Font.

  3. A concerned member already advised this seller to check here and consider their auction might be for a false capacity fake flash stick, the member that contacted the seller was thanked for their information.
