It seems that seller tippystradingonline bought from a fraudulent wholesaler. We are certain these 128GB USB flash drives will be no such thing. Although the drive properties will show 128GB this is not the truth – they are fake capacity items that will corrupt users’ files. The seller may be unaware of this.

These 128GB USB flash drives on ebay Germany are fakes

These 128GB USB flash drives listed by druck-shop24h are fakes that will corrupt users’ files. This seller obviously bought from a fraudulent wholesale outlet. Every flash drive we tested that came in this packaging turned out to be a fake capacity item that would corrupt files once the true capacity (usually under 2GB) was exceeded. Seller druck-shop24h may have no idea that these are fake.

Obvious fake 128GB flash drives sold in private ebay auctions

The 128GB leather and steel type flash drive shown here is always fake as is any flash drive sold under the Sony Vaio name.

The trademark Vaio is reserved for laptops and is never used by Sony for flash drives. Sony do not sell flash drives of higher capacity than 32GB. These are fakes that will corrupt files.

We think that seller kfzmk may be aware that they are fakes as auctions are private – usually a sign of deliberate fraud when selling flash memory items.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Seller on ebay Germany has been shopping in fakeflashland

Seller monadiana09 has listed not only this obviously fake 64GB USB flash drive but the same model in a fantastically fake 128GB capacity. The seller obviously bought from one of the many fraudulent wholesalers who supply fakes that trash users’ files.

As monadiana09 bought from a fraudulent supplier the 128GB Kingston flash drives from this seller will be counterfeit and fake capacity. You can verify serial numbers for genuine Kingston DataTraveler 200 drives but buyers will find that Kingston won’t verify these drives.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.
