szesze2009 auctions fake capacity flash memory on ebay

Seller szesze2009 is auctioning USB flash drives and memory cards on ebay that are certain to be fake capacity. A fake capacity flash drive or memory card inevitably corrupts your files once the real capacity (usually a maximum of 4GB) is full. Do not be fooled by what the operating system shows you; the capacity shown is due to fraudulent programming of these devices.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

Devious suspect fraudster on Ebay tries to seem to be in the UK?

Here we have a new ID registered in China selling what are almost certainly fake capacity 16GB flash drives on ebay. We suspect that this could be a new ID set up by a familiar fraudster gang for the purposes of scamming ebayers with fake flash. Although chenchunming36 is registered on ebay China many ebayers will be mislead by the fact that listings state the item is in the UK. Always read listings carefully folks, and don’t fall for a devious scam!

Fake flash items lead to data loss – losing money is one thing, but data loss can have much more serious consequences. Money can be earned again but some data is irreplacable. We cannot emphasise enough the fact that the flash drive advertised in this listing has always turned out to be fake capacity and no-one should buy one!

As ever we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
