Another UK ebay seller seems to have shopped in fakeflashland

leave a comment »

UK ebay member nag-1962 is yet another seller who has been shopping in fakeflashland. This seller may have absolutely no idea that these 8GB Hello Kitty USB flash drives (Item number: 160381529217) are likely to be fake but we are fairly certain they are. We have never come across a genuine flash drive in this packaging.

We suggest that nag-1962 tests them with h2testw to check. Fake flash memory corrupts users’ files. We certainly wouldn’t want these in our Christmas stockings!!

As usual we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.

Genuine 32GB hello kitty flash drive? We think not!!

panshuai518

We don’t think the hello kitty flash drives listed by seller panshuai518 are genuinely 32GB, though so far no buyers seem to have left negative feedback.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

wangs-online-shop

We consider this listing by China-based seller wangs-online-shop to be highly suspect and feel fairly certain this will prove to be a fake capacity flash drive.

As ever we strongly advise ebayers to test all flash memory with the free program h2testw.

Report in to SOSFakeFlash if your testing confirms you have a false capacity device.
