counterfeit 128GB Corsair flash drive from ebayer dreshot

The model of Corsair flash drive pictured in this ebay listing from dreshot is not made in 128GB capacity so this USB flash drive is a fake capacity counterfeit that corrupts files. As this is a fake we suspect that the 32GB Kingston micro SDHC cards being sold by dreshot will also turn out to be fake capacity counterfeits.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

Report your fake if testing confirms you have purchased fake capacity flash memory on ebay.

32GB micro SD cards in private ebay auctions from xxxwonder

We think it unlikely that the 32GB micro SDHC cards being sold by xxxwonder in private ebay auctions are genuine – it seems very probable that they will turn out to be fake capacity, which corrupts files.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

suspect 32GB micro SD cards sold on ebay by budikstore

We suspect that the 32GB Topram micro SD cards listed on ebay by budikstore will turn out to be fake capacity and fake capacity flash memory items corrupt files once the real capacity is full. We think this memory card will start to corrupt photos (or music or whatever is stored on it) once around 2GB has been saved to it. Do not be fooled by what the operating system shows – fakes are programmed to report a false capacity to the operating system.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.

if you bought a memory card on ebay from11vinod11 test with h2testw immediately

A buyer who tested this micro SD card sold on ebay by 11vinod11 reports that the actual capacity of the card is only 2GB not 32GB. Where flash memory has been programmed to a false capacity like this it corrupts files once the true capacity is full.

It seems that 11vinod11 is a bit of a slippery customer as the buyer was accused of damaging the card by using the program h2testw to test the card. H2testw is a non destructive test which simply tries to write 1GB files made up of ones and zeros to fill the reported capacity.

If the memory is ok then the test runs without errors. If it is fake or faulty then a report showing at what point errors in writing and reading data begins. This information indicates the true capacity of fake flash memory items.

It seems that 11vinod11 has a long standing habit of buying from known fake flash fraudsters including xoldskool, bid2buying, best2all8888 and crystalpalace1987. We wonder if the memory cards sold by this ebayer were actually purchased from fraudsters on ebay.

Anyone who bought a memory card from 11vinod11 is advised to test it immediately with h2testw. then open a paypal dispute to get their money back if the card is fake capacity. Given this seller’s attitude it is a complete waste of time trying to communicate directly with 11vinod11.

We advise everyone who buys flash memory items to test them with the free program h2testw irrespective of where they were purchased – otherwise you run the risk of data loss and corruption.
