It appears that seller malliapaul must be (as we suspected) selling fake capacity counterfeits from a fraudulent supplier as this seller would have made a massive loss (running into several thousands of dollars) on the folowing item numbers sold on ebay if they were genuine:

We may have missed a couple of sales – but it is clear that malliapaul would have made a loss on every sale (if they were genuine) so we conclude that we were right = they must be fakes from a fraudulent supplier in China as no seller in their right mind would keep selling things at a huge loss on each sale!

So far it appears that no buyer has tested with h2testw or taken other steps to check these as all five buyers who had left feedback have given positives. Buyers can check whether or not a Kingston flash drive is genuine quite easily – here are the steps:

1. Look at the back of the pack – is there a serial number?
